In this position, you will be responsible for providing support to the production departments by keeping the process solutions in the specification by making chemical additions or bath replacements.  

Responsibilities

  • Attention to quality of the product
  • Review customer and paperwork for instructions
  • Proper hazardous material storage and handling
  • Process tank additions and rebuilds, Forklift driving
  • General housekeeping and safety awareness
  • Perform quality tests and log readings
  • Assist with wastewater treatment facility
  • Work closely with higher level technicians to complete work and prioritize tasks
  • Use tooling and fixtures, when applicable
  • Know how to avoid damaging equipment
  • Be familiar with Quality Assurance requirements
  • Be familiar with the safety precautions & know how to avoid injury to personnel
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to drive positive change in productivity, delivery, and service



 Qualifications

  • Must be a US Person and able to provide proof of US Person status upon hiring
  • Ability to train others, Ability to use/learn Lean Tools and techniques to solve tactical and strategic problems and issues arising in this position
  • Excellent accuracy with a strong attention to detail and demonstrated teamwork attitude
    Ability to communicate well
  • 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Must be able to pass Background checking & drug testing
  • Basic English reading, writing and math comprehension required
  • Some technical college or 2-year degree preferred
  • Industrial wastewater treatment and Hazwoper certification are preferred
  • 2-5 years of hazardous materials/waste handling; including basic pumping and pump servicing
