Job Description

We are a successful, international commercial cleaning franchise with a regional office in Brentwood, TN looking for a telemarketing SUPERSTAR. This position is a day shift role: Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday 9am-12:30pm. (32hrs/week)

POSITION SCOPE: Performs telemarketing related tasks under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager/Representative making calls to inform potential clients about the service and to set and pre-qualified sales appointments. A commercial cleaning background is not required, but the winning applicant must absolutely have the following characteristics:

• 2 years of outbound calling experience required

• tech-comfortable

• excellent English, both written and spoken

• must have reliable transportation

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: •Solicits and qualifies sales appointments

• Maintains current and accurate daily records of prospect contact for solicitation and re-solicitation

• Maintains updated materials and registers to be used in the solicitation of clients

• Recommends materials and registers to be used in the solicitation of clients

• Conducts telephone solicitations as directed by a sales manager, sales representative or master franchise owner

• Maximizes opportunities to procure accounts in identified areas while addressing the oldest franchise business requirement first

• Works with the sales manager or sales representative to meet appointment objectives

• Maintains a system to compare performance against objectives

• Other related tasks and activities as assigned

• Inside Sales is responsible to the Sales Manager or assigned Sales Representative for interpretation and fulfillment of his/her objectives

• Inside Sales exercises the authority delegated by the Sales Manager/Representative assigned and accepts the responsibility to keep him/her informed

• Inside Sales works with the Sales Manager/Representative in meeting appointment objectives and maintains a system to trade performance against objectives.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED

• 2 years previous experience in outbound sales or telemarketing

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Clear, positive, and pleasant telephone manner

• Manual dexterity to operate a computer (desk-top and lap-top) and other electronic equipment

• Ability to take legible, detailed, and accurate hand-written notes and messages where necessary

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods

• Knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook email and calendar, CRM database management

• Proficient in the use of the Internet

• Ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in an electronic database
