Bookkeeper for Accounting Firm

AtWork Personnel Irondale is seeking an experienced and professional full-charge Bookkeeper with public accounting experience to perform firm administration functions as well as client bookkeeping for a local CPA Firm with business clients located throughout Alabama.
The position includes firm administration duties including billing, payroll, benefits administration and office management. The bookkeeping functions include write-up work, payroll processing, payroll tax return preparation and numerous other bookkeeping related functions.
This is a full-time position with moderate overtime required during the busy season and flexible hours during the off season. The firm offers excellent benefits.

-Payroll, Payroll returns, and general administrative functions.
-QuickBooks knowledge is required.
-Prior experience interacting and training with clients on QuickBooks is a plus.

-Experience specifically in the construction/contracting field would be preferred.
-Accounting degree not required.
