AtWork Personnel Irondale is looking for an experience Hydraulic Technician/Fabricator for a local Hydraulic Repair Service.
Build, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic equipment. Fabricate sub-assemblies and small shop jobs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Troubleshoot, repair, and test hydraulic and lubrication pumps and related components.
Document components required for repairs and estimate required labor hours.
Assemble small jobs using hand tools and small power tools.
Work with senior technicians on hydraulic power unit systems.
Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot existing hydraulic systems and machinery.
Travel to customer locations to install hydraulic equipment including some overnight travel.
Overtime work will be required occasionally.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to use hand tools effectively and quickly.
Fabrication and welding skills preferred.
Use shop equipment such as saws, mills, pipe threader, and lathe.
Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics.
